The day that we honor those in the military both past and present who courageously serve our country. From the beginning when we fought for our religious freedoms when our country was new to now when we help others gain their freedom from those who would repress them. While there are many who do not like our military presence overseas, they need to remember that in most cases these countries ask for our assistance. We must all remember the sacrifices these men, women and their families make to ensure freedom.
